My order of shotgun ammo from Lucky Gunner was delivered promptly yesterday and now I just had to try them out. My sons and I took 2 Mossberg 500’s to the range today and fired 50 rounds of 12 gauge slug and 20 rounds Royal Buck Low Recoil 00 Buckshot through them. After zeroing the red dots on the tactical shotguns with the slugs we then fired the buckshot for function testing (note; our results are unscientifically guestimated). The 2 ¾” shells cycled through the pump actions easily and jam free. Firing the buckshot through the 18 ½” barrels produced manageable recoil without distracting from target focus and the impact of the 9 pellets at 50 yards showed a respectable spread of around 3 feet. The price of this ammo was reasonable enough to have a blast with it and I am likely to do business with Lucky Gunner again:-) (Posted on 6/5/11)
