Quality - This buckshot is well built with high brass of 17mm. As with most of the European designs the hullsQuality Performance Value
use a flat clear cap with a small (approx 1/8 in) lip thus making this shell physically long at 2 1/2 in
compared to American made (crimped) hulls measured at 2 3/8 in. Thus only can load 7 rds in the
the 8 rdn magazine tube. Not a major problem here.
Performance - At the range thru a Mossberg 590 with 20in cylinder bore at 15yds the 10 rds fired were within
a 10in grouping. Good for any HD situation. Now the surprise was the recoil of this buckshot,
rated at 1290 fps this stuff kicks like a mule, more than some 1700 - 1800 fps slugs fired. First
time shooting this buckshot suffered a middle finger injury with the trigger guard slamming
into my finger. Beware this is one HOT load. Fun to shoot.
Value - The value comes from LUCKY GUNNER'S live inventory feature and the speed of re-stocking that
inventory along with the available number in stock. Though I've found this at a lower price months
earlier, can understand todays prices and shortages with the current climate of firearms and ammo.
