A: Hi Craig! Not really, I'm afraid. This shell's shot is intended for hunting small birds without mangling their bodies, so it simply wouldn't offer very much stopping power. I mean, very small shot like this could still kill a human-sized target at very short range, and it would present a reduced risk of penetrating multiple walls (which could prove safer if you live in an apartment or condo). But I wouldn't promise you could effectively neutralize a target with shotgun ammo like this.
I regret that we haven't got the buckshot that you need in stock at the moment. I've put our best options together here: luckygunner.com/shotgun/12-gauge-ammo-shells?jacket_type=671%2C1307. The BB shot I'd only recommend if your shotgun can handle 3" shells, and even it won't be as effective as buckshot would have proven. Still, those are the biggest shot pellets we have in stock at the moment. The slug is a sabot – it'll offer terrible accuracy as it fails to stabilize within a smoothbore barrel, which I assume your shotgun has. A sabot slug fired through a smoothbore will likely hit its target sideways as well. But at very close range you could hit your target, and getting broadsided with 7/10 ounces of lead is still highly unpleasant.
None of these are ideal options for home defense, so what I'm most recommend is that you check back in soon. Our inventory changes frequently, so we very well may have some #4, 00, or 000 buck in stock for you when you come back. I hope this helps!
