This Super-X 12 gauge shotshell ammo from Winchester will put turkeys in your bag at a reasonable cost. Each 3" magnum shell in this economical case of 100 is built to perform well against large birds, firing nearly two ounces of #4 shot (not to be confused with buckshot, which is about twice the diameter) at 1,210 feet per second. This configuration produces a veritable hail of lead in a tight pattern that's sure to reward a well-placed shot with a clean kill.

These shells use copper-plated hard shot for better terminal ballistics. Copper plated pellets not only provide more penetration, they also enhance accuracy by resisting deformative pressures when the shell is fired. Rounder pellets tend to stay within the shot pattern and stand a lower risk of becoming useless "flyers" that don't even come close to hitting the target.
