These .22-250 rounds from the Nosler Varmageddon line are perfect for dispatching coyotes, gophers, javelina, and other similarly sized pests with precision. Varmageddon cartridges go through a very stringent quality checking process which ensures brass casings with correct wall thickness, neck size, case length, and properly aligned flash holes. In addition, the powder charge of every round is meticulously weighed before loading and each round is inspected and polished after production. The Varmageddon projectiles themselves feature Nosler's legendary quality with a flat base for uniform propulsion and accuracy and a hollow-point jacket for drag-reduction as well as impact expansion. The design also maintains a thinner jacket at the hollow point and thicker jacket at the middle of the bullet in order to facilitate more violent expansion while maintaining weight and resisting jacket separation from the lead core. This makes for a devastating varmint bullet that exits the muzzle at 3,350 feet-per-second while carrying 1,538 foot-pounds of energy.

Nosler is a family-owned company that was started in 1948 and has done very well to make legendary bullet designs that have been adopted by many precision ammunition manufacturers for their own recipes. Their attention to quality, detail, and new innovation has garnished them many awards and they have made the exclusive makers of many signature brands of ammunition for certain firearms manufacturers.
