Melli Castro ( Sun, 20 Jan 2013 12:51:45 +0000 ) : Just realizing that my knowledge on.22ammo. is not up to par. My question is; "is the 45 grain 22 hornet able to be shot out of an M&P 15-22 TAC. Rifle?". please reply ASAP.
Anica Perez ( Sun, 03 Feb 2013 00:25:21 +0000 ) : You are so country mom!
Shannon Cuniningham ( Wed, 13 Feb 2013 12:11:32 +0000 ) : can a ruger 10/22 hold and fire this ammo. I cant find 22 ammo anywhere where I live.
Heidi At Lucky Gunner ( Wed, 13 Feb 2013 13:18:38 +0000 ) : The Hornet is a centerfire cartridge Melli. If you would typically shoot .22LR you're best off avoiding the Hornet with this firearm.
Heidi At Lucky Gunner ( Wed, 13 Feb 2013 13:20:12 +0000 ) : Hey Shannon, the Hornet is a centerfire cartridge instead of a rimfire like most .22LR. I'm not familiar with the Ruger 10/22 but I understand it to be a rimfire firearm - that means the Hornet wouldn't work well for you. Sorry for the inconvenience, I know 22LR is tough to find right now and thank you for the note.
Steven Holcomb ( Wed, 13 Nov 2013 01:52:38 +0000 ) : Would this shoot or fit my 22 mag. Ruger single nine pistol?

Q: Will this ammo work well with Marlin 22 semi auto long rifle ?

Posted On: 12/27/12 By: Scott

A: This will work in your Marlin rifle, though, you will want to double check to make sure it is chambered for the 22 Hornet round. If you notice a .22LR marking on your rifle, you will need .22 Long Rifle ammo. If you have additional questions about this, please feel free to respond via e mail or give us a call.
