Do you want countless hours of great fun and entertainment? Then you’ll need a lot more than 400 rounds of 22 LR ammo, but this 10-box brick will still help you enjoy a taste of the good times.

Targets or varmints, it makes no difference to this round’s 38 grain copper-plated hollow point. It shoots them all, and it delivers a little terminal expansion in the varmints’ case.The CPHP’s plated exterior won’t magically do away with all barrel leading, but it’ll help keep things a little neater all the same.

American Eagle is a fine line of ammunition. It’s nothing match grade, but it benefits from Federal Premium’s overarching commitments to quality and reliability all the same.

It’s like some kind of compulsion. Anyway, here’s this 0.131 G1 BC bullet’s 1,260 fps muzzle velocity and 75-yard zero data:

ran flawlessly through my 10/22 takedown and m&p22 compact...maybe not as supreme as the majestic cci but it sure is better then that remington and winchester garbage. ammo feeds and ejects normally. accurate and consistent for its value

Excellent ammo. Using for years in all weather and never one failure to fire or feed. Taken many squirrels, a couple groundhogs and even a coyote. Very good ammo.

Finally some ammo that shoots well in my old Marlin. Great value and very accurate. My daughter loves to shoot the .22 but was frustrated with ammo that would hang up. Shooting this made her a happy camper. Lucky Gunner always delivers fast too.

Not suited for Sig Mosquito

The specs on this ammo looked fine for my new Sig Sauer Mosquito. However, this ammo failed to feed or eject in at least 2/3 of the 100 rounds I fired yesterday at the range. The gun is new, and likely needs some break-in time. But my first 100 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag performed fine - only one failure to feed out of 100. I will keep these around to use at some later date, but will have to switch back to CCI Mini-mags for the near-term.

This stuff is total garbage. Half the rounds fail to feed or fail to extract casings. Awful.

Overall Great Ammo. Close to target quality ammo at plinking prices.
***Now you are trying to run this ammo through a semi-auto handgun like the Walther P22 I would stay away from this ammo. If you own a Walther P22 you already know its picky on its ammo selection. I had alot of ejection problems with this ammo out of the P22.***
If you are going to use it in a .22 rifle (either semi or bolt) you will have no issues. Good Shooting!!

Have a nice Savage with bull barrel and 4x9 burris I picked up as a package at Cabela's. Shoots match ammo very very well but didn't do so well with the cheap stuff....until I found the AE22. My rifle loves this stuff as much as the really pricey target ammo.

I do not know why, but I can not seem to find good quality .22 amo sold in the sporting / gun stores here in California. (the local Walmart is not allowed to sell amo, which is OK because the stuff is pretty iffy quality, but cheap)
So, it sounds crazy to mail-order something heavy like amo, but Lucky Gunner with shipping acutally meets or beats the prices I can get at the store.... IF I could find it at the store.
The American Eagle is not a "target" quality round, but comes pretty close for me, and at this price it's 1/3 of the price that the "serious" shooters are using, and we are all pretty much in the same grouping size. At 200 yards I can hit a clay bird on the hill half the time with this amo.
Bulk Remington .22 amo is cheap, but has too many misfires, and the last batch of Winchester XX .22 amo I bought would get stuck in my bolt action rifle every 5th shot and I had to use the cleaning rod the clear the barrel.
Good stuff for the money.
