These Czech-made rimfire rounds are tuned for precision shooting and can be used for long range work or applied to competitive events to help boost your score. Each .22 Long Rifle round is made using a factory-rolled brass casing with a non-corrosive primer mixture at its base. The round's profile calls for a 40-grain lead round nose (LRN) projectile; the bare lead style bullet is preferred by some match shooters that don't want copper shavings to infiltrate their actions or magazine internals. Sellier & Bellot equips the lead projectile with a pronounced shank which works with light brass crimping to prevent setback and jostling under recoil or throughout rough handling.

That effort not only preserves consistent accuracy but ensures dependable ignition via uniform case volume. The LRN projectile also features a wide bourrelet which catches greater rifling in order to grant the round greater spin stability while in flight. A curved ogive ensures reliable feeding while a flat tip helps create clean, circular holes in paper targets for more easily discerned scoring. The 40-grain weight matches dozens of practice and hunting loads in the caliber for matchable zeroing.
