Details

This centerfire ammunition from Wolf is a great way to keep your training volume up while driving your costs down. Each of these .223 Remington rounds is built using an inexpensive steel casing with a thin coat of polymer; the polymer film prevents rust from forming while in storage and makes metal-on-metal contact a bit less harsh. The case is fitted with a non-corrosive Berdan primer and a 55-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile. 55 grains is a common light weight of the caliber and matches M193 clone products for similar ballistics to most practice ammo.

This particular FMJ bullet features a copper jacket material instead of Wolf's normal bi-metal offering. As a result, shooters can expect fewer sparks when shooting steel targets or at indoor ranges. The Wolf ammo brand is American-owned and based out of California. They import cartridges from Ukraine, Russia, and other Eastern nations in order to supply U.S. shooters with highly affordable sporting stocks.

Please note that Wolf does NOT recommend using this product with any Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifles. See the Wolf Ammo website for details.
