The 223 Remington was invented by the US Army and America's oldest ammunition and firearms manufacturer, Remington. They developed this round to give the soldiers fighting in Vietnam a lighter, faster, and lower recoil round. In the civilian realm, this round can be used for hunting, self defense, match competition, and target shooting.

These remanufactured rounds feature 69 grain Sierra MatchKing projectiles that are designed to deliver pinpoint accuracy for long range target shooting. Each bullet is loaded into a reconditioned, once-fired brass casing that comes boxer primed.
