Details
Tula ammunition derives its name from its birthplace, the Tula Cartridge Works in Tula, Russia. This same plant also produces many of the products branded in the United States as "Wolf Ammunition".
The Tula Cartridge Works plant was founded in 1880 and is currently one of the largest ammunition manufacturing plants in the world. The Tula name has gained a following worldwide for its rugged, reliable, and economical product. This cartridge complies with CIP requirements and the casing features a polymer-coated steel casing with a non-corrosive Boxer Primer. The projectile features a bimetal jacket (contains steel and copper) and a lead core resulting in excellent ballistics characteristics.
This ammunition is rugged like the country where it was manufactured and keeps its qualities under temperatures ranging from -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit ensuring that it will perform when needed most.

- Good ammo for the price Review by britain22

I have fired well over 1,000 rounds of Tula ammo in an Colt AR-15 and my mini-14 and neither one of the guns had issues with this ammo. Maybe a little dirtier than other ammo but at the much lower cost, it is worth cleaning my weapons! (Posted on 4/7/12)Performance Value Quality - we give this two thumbs up Review by Ken in WMCA

my wife and i both shoot AR-15's and this ammo feeds just like any other brand for us, the only time we have any problems with any ammo in our AR's is when they are dirty and need a good cleaning and yes you will clean your rifle a bit more often but at the price of this 75 gr stuff it's a great deal, just so you know my AR is a cmmg and the wife's is a dpms both are what i'd call better AR's. I have had no issues in my AR15. Very accurate ammo for the money. Have fired 226 rds. with no jams, misfires, or miscues or any type! (Posted on 6/3/11)Value Quality Performance - Great price and great service Review by lonestarlizard

I have not shot any of these yet in my mini-14 so I can't review the performance yet. I checked several boxes and all the rounds appeared clean with no obvious defects. The length appeared identical to some PMC, Wolf and Remington rounds. I have shot many boxes of Wolf and other Russian ammo through the Ruger and had zero problems; no FTFs, no FTEs and no jams. That's why I think the Ruger's design is superior to the AR design. Little if any residue shows up in the action of the mini-14. I have had no problem with the Russian ammo in my tactical mini 14. No dirtier than any other ammo. Shoots where I want it to. The service is just super. With definitely buy from Lucky Gunner again. It is like having a gun show at your fingertips. (Posted on 5/19/11)Value Quality Performance - Great in Mini 14 Review by stephen3

This Ammo Jammed every other round. Perhaps my AR-15 is sensative, though my buddy tried some in his and it jammed every other round as well. I do not have that problems with other brands of ammo like Remington and PMC. (Posted on 5/15/11)Performance Value Quality - OK Review by Hos

I got these from a big box store that rimes with mart because it was all they had. with my AR I shot 20 rounds and it jammed so I cleared and tried to shoot but it jammed. I removed the bolt carrier and it was so dirty I had to clean it. after a 15 more it did it again so I gave the remaining 100 rounds to a kid on the range with a bolt action. I dont recomend them you would be better spending more on a higher quality product. (Posted on 5/10/11)Performance Value Quality - JAMMING AMMO Review by JAMMIN JIM

GRAET PRICE;JAMS IN MY BUSHMASTER (Posted on 5/8/11)Performance Value Quality - Not recommended for an AR-15 Review by Trent

I shot about 300 over about 20 mins in my brand new AR15. I had a steel casing seal itself into my chamber. I could not ram it out. I took it to the gunsmith who was able to get it out after about 10 mins of work. He said not to use them in the AR15's because the sealant melts and stickies it up. Not what I want in a self Defense situation... (Posted on 5/3/11)Performance Value Quality - I ran 60 rounds through.... Review by Parker

I ran ran 60 rounds through my Bushmaster. They ran just fine and cleaned up easy enough.Performance Value Quality
I didn't clock them, but they seemed pretty consistent at 25 yards.
I don't shoot the .223 out past 200-300 yards- especially 75 grains, so I'm thinking these may be a cost effective defense round you can afford to practice with and use should the need arise. I think we all agree that using the same round for practice and application makes the most sense if there is an affordable way to do that.
This may be the solution. (Posted on 4/26/11) - Buy Brass Review by howboutya

After 80 rounds i had a spent round get stuck in the chamber. I had to dismantle the AR to clear the case. This product probably works great in cheap firearms, I have a ruger and I will not purchase this product again. Stick with the Federal! (Posted on 4/18/11)Performance Value Quality
