The Berdan-primed steel case has a phosphate polymer coating, and is non-reloadable.

Q: Does this have a copper coated steel cased bimetal bullet?

A: Hello Allen! This Tula .223 round is designed with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. As a result, the jacket does contain steel and will not be able to pass a magnet test.

Q: This is a heavier than average (55 or 62 grain) bullet. Is there an increased length? Will it fit in a standard AR 15 mag? Will it cycle through an AR? Thanks!

A: Hello Jay, There is an increased overall length on this Tula 75 grain ammunition. With that being said, the OAL for this ammunition is still short enough to be used in standard AR magazines.
