Details

This professionally remanufactured match grade .223 Remington ammo from Black Hills Ammunition is a great way to stock up for competition training and other accuracy oriented shooting activities. These cartridges work well in both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO rifles, though a barrel with a faster twist rate (at least 1 in 9) may be necessary to achieve optimal stabilization.

Each cartridge in this bulk priced case of 500 fires a 75 grain match hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,750 feet per second. Though described as a hollow point, these open tipped projectiles are designed to produce maximum accuracy rather than have high stopping power or expansion against game. The heavy, relatively slow moving bullet is designed to be as stable as possible; its boat tailed profile helps reduce the effect of crosswinds on the point of impact.

Black Hills Ammunition remanufactured ammunition is made in Rapid City, South Dakota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and once fired brass cases that have been cleaned and reloaded with new components.
