Details

These American-made .250 Savage rounds from Precision Cartridge Inc. (PCI) are a great choice for taking hogs and deer at medium range! Each round sports a pointed soft point (PSP) bullet which weighs in at 100 grains; this is near the top of the projectile range of the caliber and boasts superb momentum for enhanced penetration. The PSP has an exposed lead nose which is tapered to a fine tip for drag resistance in flight which contributes to tighter group sizes. Upon entry into a target, the soft lead tip causes the bullet to expand in a mushroom-like fashion which carves a large, free-bleeding wound into a game target. By design, the bullet will punch past thick hide and bone before slowing to halt and delivering all of its energy to vital organs.

Hunters can trust these rounds to drop game with humane efficiency. Other components include reloadable brass casings, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and clean-burning powder. PCI ammunition has been manufactured in Indiana since 1986 using top-grade equipment.
