Wolf's steel-cased 30-06 ammo is one of the newest additions to the Wolf lineup. Wolf, seeing a need for more economical 30-06 ammo for range practice, has started the manufacturing of 30-06 ammunition. Wolf has been producing economical cartridges in high volume rifle calibers such as .223 Rem and 7.62x39mm for a long time helping to keep shooting costs lower through the use of more cost-effective steel cases. Dave McMahan ( Tue, 26 Mar 2013 21:11:08 +0000 ) : Someone should buy this for me.
Matthew Parmentier ( Wed, 10 Apr 2013 12:49:06 +0000 ) : Ill buy you one if you buy me one. I'll eventually run out of my Korean surplus sooner or later. This may be the next best thing when surplus supplies dry up.
John Torbert ( Thu, 25 Apr 2013 01:27:04 +0000 ) : 145 grains with no velocity or energy?? Ok for bolt or leaver guns but my M1 was made for heavier.
Scott DeBeaubien ( Thu, 25 Apr 2013 22:17:36 +0000 ) : If this is the same stuff I bought at Sportsman's guide, then it will attract a magnet. Many ranges are not allowing that anymore, presumably because of the penetration these might have (more like an AP round?), ruining steel targets.
Jim Tully ( Fri, 31 May 2013 22:39:24 +0000 ) : My range won't accept them. Reason is ricochets because the steel cores don't release energy as fast as lead and they are worried about the liability if someone gets hit while using these things. And I have over 700 rds of these things! The damage is also a problem but it isn't as much as you think.
George Allen ( Mon, 14 Jul 2014 13:41:40 +0000 ) : I will buy them from you how much gma196195401@yahoo.com
Kevin Rodriguez ( Thu, 23 Oct 2014 00:08:33 +0000 ) : where are they shipped from?
Kevin Rodriguez ( Thu, 23 Oct 2014 00:10:20 +0000 ) : can they be shipped to California?
Heidi Gunner ( Tue, 28 Oct 2014 01:43:18 +0000 ) : Hey Kevin, Thanks for asking. We can ship these to California --- with a few exceptions based on local (city) laws. We ship from our warehouse located in East Tennessee. Typically, we see shipping times to California that are less than a week and you'll get a tracking number so you can keep tabs on your ammo as UPS or FedEx brings it your way. Thanks again for checking us out and please just let me know if you have any other questions.

WPA ammo in M1 Garand Rifle Review by Jakob1944
The 152gr M2 ball ammo is the correct ammo for the M1 Garand rifle, ....Your M1 would never know the difference using the 145 gr......Mine functions perfect with this ammo......I highly recommend using a gas plug that has a vent in it to bleed off excess pressure to prevent bending the op-rod...... Good Product Review by Joewee
The carts arent re-loadable but given the prices out there right now this is the best deal going for 30-06 unless your able to reload your own. I rapid fire these with out issue. I had some concerns with the painted steal carts but no issues they are very slippery and slide against other carts without issues. (Posted on 5/17/13)
Decent ammo Review by charlie
Finally got out to the range with my new rifle. No issues at all on the line with this ammo. Shot straight, no misfires or anything.

Cleaned the rifle, found that after 40 rounds I did'nt need to clean it. Ammo shot clean.

Great value, as usual from lucky gunner (Posted on 4/5/13)
