This Vital-Shok ammunition from Federal provides excellent terminal performance against deer and other large and midsize game. Each round is loaded with a Trophy Bonded Tip polymer-tipped bullet. The polymer tip is more than just a cosmetic feature; it gives the bullet an aerodynamic profile and contributes to the projectile's expansion upon contact with the animal. The lead core of the bullet is encased in a thick copper jacket. The tip peels the jacket outward into the "mushroom" shape that gives the projectile its killing power.

These .30-06 Springfield cartridges come in boxes of 20 and fire a 165 grain version of the Trophy Bonded Tip at a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second. The inherent accuracy of the TBT combined with the power of the .30-06 platform make this ammo accurate at ranges in excess of 500 yards in skilled hands.

This ammunition is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and durable nickel plated brass cases.
