This Browning BXC .308 Winchester ammunition takes advantage of a unique tip construction in order to give hunters the best tool for whitetail deer, feral hogs, and even some smaller black bears. The proprietary Controlled Expansion Terminal Tip is made out of strong, brass-anodized aluminum and allows the bullet to penetrate deep into an animal's vital zones, defeating protective layers of hide and bone. During entry, the tip gives way to the hollow point beneath and begins expanding. This expansion is halted by the bonded copper jacket which prevents separation while ensuring optimum energy is transferred to the game animal.
Each projectile weighs in at 168 grains, standard to the .308 caliber, and is mounted in a reloadable brass casing. The cases are nickel-plated for smooth insertion, slick extraction, and corrosion resistance in storage. The casings are all filled with a precise measure of clean-burning propellant grains and equipped with non-corrosive Boxer primers. Browning's ammunition is made in the United States by Winchester. The products utilize centuries of American hunting experience in order cross new boundaries while delivering excellent performance in the field.
