- 32 ACP 60gr. JHP, Fiocchi Review by PatD

I shoot a Walther PP and maybe because I have a little more barrel but I get fragmentation and what's left of the base tumbles on. I don't want to take a hit from one of these. In the same media, FMJ doesn't perform better. I use phone books. (Posted on 5/28/12)Quality Performance Value - less than pleased Review by Gimme40

Agree with others, just use as target now, too bad I like the velocity rating and reliable firing and I have a nice Walther SS ppks that is being replaced by a compact .40. (Posted on 4/2/11)Performance Value Quality - HP does not expand Review by quigley

I have used this in a .32 Beretta Tomcat as well as a KelTec and in wetpac, it consistently fails to expand. It is HOT but the lead core must be too hard to espand in this medium. Might as well shoot FMJ. I have moved up to a .380 for a BU pistol to my Glock .40. I haven't found a reliably expanding bullet from any manufacturer in .32 acp. I have a KelTek .32 and have fired numerous rounds of various manufacturers though it. I have mixed them, matched them and all function perfectly. I have never had a FTF...period. So much for the gun. As for ammo, the Fiocchi claims very high velocity and energy and it feels as though those claims are valid compared to other ammunition. Primers are flattened but not outwardly so. The gun holds up well to the stresses of what I would say would be a +P equivelent in this gun. However, regardless of medium, the 60gr. JHP will NOT expand. It has good penetration, but no expansion. I don't care if it is shot into 'wet-pack', gelatin or beef...no expansion. So the reason for the 3-stars. Then again, I don't believe that the .32acp has such a capability. One reason I carry a Glock .40 and a .380 loaded with Fiocchi ammo. Great ammo, just the caliber....
