As such, these .44 Remington Magnum rounds bear 240-grain semi-jacketed hollow-point (SJHP) projectiles that promote wide expansion during entry. This creates a large wound cavity in a target and transfers devastating energy to the vital organs of a threat or game animal. 240 grains is light for the caliber and offers perfect velocity for thin-skinned deer and coyote when fired from a hunting revolver or lever-action rifle.

HTP cartridges are assembled from high-quality components including reloadable brass casings fitted with non-corrosive primers and filled with clean-burning propellant. The SJHP bullets have a low-cut copper jacket which prevents premature fragmentation and preserves necessary penetrating power. Q: Are these suitable for the Henry 44 mag lever action rifle?

A: Yes sir, I should think this ammo should serve your Henry well! The primary thing is that its bullet has a flat nose profile, which will help to prevent a primer strike in the magazine.

Q: I have an Alaskan Redhawk 44 magnum revolver. What is the highest round I can safely fire through this gun, do you carry it, and what is the price? I also have a Smith and Wesson 500. I have been told that I can shoot as high as 440 grain bullets. Do you carry them and what is the cost please?

A: Hi David. Congrats on choosing one of the most rugged brands and models on the market. That Ruger will fire any factory loaded round you can buy. Just choose the bullet weight you want and let it go downrange!
