Most 5.45x39mm ammunition available for AK-74 type rifles is military surplus that's a bit old and often corrosive, requiring thorough cleaning sessions every time you shoot. Wolf ammo offers a great new production alternative that's cost-effective and reliable! Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 60 grain full metal jacket bullet.

This ammo is not to be confused with the 7.62x39mm rounds used in AK-47 and SKS rifles; the 5.45x39mm is more compact and produces less recoil and higher muzzle velocities using a lighter bullet. Introduced in the 1970s, it was the Soviet counterpart to the 5.56 NATO round and still serves as the standard rifle cartridge of many former Warsaw Pact countries.

This ammo is made in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases. The cases feature polymer coatings to ensure reliable cycling.
