This ammo is perfect for range training and target shooting. Its 55 grain FMJ projectile is just a dense lead core and copper alloy jacket that any semi-automatic rifle chambered for 5.56 will have no issue feeding and firing. This bullet is fine for close-range work, but its boat tail gives it a marked long-range advantage. Because the tapering base reduces the amount of drag the bullet can generate in flight, it helps to keep its downrange velocities faster and flatten out its overall trajectory.
