Each of these cartridges is assembled using a non-corrosive Boxer primer which is accompanied by moisture-blocking sealant when it's installed into a reloadable brass casing. The casings have been annealed at the neck and shoulder for better flexibility which resists cracking and splitting after repeated use. Following the M855 recipe, each round is loaded with a 62 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectile with toothed cannelure at its crimp point which reduces the risk of jostling in order to regulate performance and precision. These green-tip bullets are easily stabilized in the most common barrel lengths and twist rates of AR-15, SCAR-16s, and Tavor rifles offered on the market today.
