This .308 Winchester ammunition from Sellier & Bellot is one of the few subsonic loads for this caliber on the market. Ideal for competition or suppressed use, these rounds fire a heavy 200 grain bullet and deliver excellent medium and short range accuracy. This ammo is not marketed as a hunting round, nor for self-defense, but will perform better in these applications than any FMJ ammo.

Sellier & Bellot (or S&B) is a Czech manufacturer known for producing quality ammunition at reasonable prices. S&B ammo uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.

Q: Will these cycle a semi-auto 308 e.g. Daniel Defense DD5v4?

A: Hello again Joseph! Just heard back from Daniel Defense. Here is what they say: "We have not tested it to know if it will cycle. If you aren't shooting suppressed, then I would say there is no chance it will cycle."

Q: How does this ammo work in semi-auto? Have any of your successfully fired it out of a 7.62 Nato rifle?

A: Hi James. In regards to any subsonic ammo cycling in a rifle or handgun, there are just too may variables involved to know without testing the ammo. I am sorry but I can't give an answer to you. I would by some smaller packages and check out how well they work before buying a larger quantity. Let me know if you have further questions. Have a great day. Ross
