American Eagle Ammunition, I've been shooting this stuff for 20 years. I've always expected quality and performance out of this stuff. It's made by Federal Ammunition Company and that's synonymous with quality in itself. I do a lot of shooting with various types of pistols and American Eagle has never let me down, always functions, always very reliable.
The ammunition is very clean burning. The powder is very smoke-free, it leaves little residue on the gun. It's just an excellent and a very pleasurable ammunition to shoot, less clean up.
The American Eagle is priced so you can do the maximum amount of shooting for your dollar. And that really is important because, for me, I really put a lot of lead downrange. And it really makes it great when I know I can depend on ammunition, but it doesn't break the bank.
It's a 9mm 115 grain full metal jacket, it's brass cased, great for reloading. Also, 1,180 feet per second out of the muzzle with 356 foot pounds of pressure. It's a full power load. Oh yeah, baby.
It's very clean polished ammo. Of course, it's boxer primed. Nice brass casing. Also one thing that I feel good about is when I shoot American Eagle, it's an American made product. It brings a sense of pride, but it also brings a sense of comfort because I know that the quality control standards are in place. And with Federal Ammunition backing that up, I think you can rest assured that this is good quality ammunition.
I do a lot of shooting with various guns in various calibers and American Eagle... is upside down.
