Remington's Golden Saber brand remains a unique and effective round for personal defense or duty carry. As such, these 9mm rounds are assembled using reloadable brass casings that are treated to a slick nickel coating. As a result, this ammo resists corrosion caused by sweat when carrying and also provides smooth reliable feeding and ejection. Each case has a non-corrosive Boxer primer affixed to its base and a 124-grain brass jacketed hollow point (BJHP) projectile at its top. 124 grains is common to NATO-spec loads and provides a balance between recoil and potential energy.

Remington's trademark brass-jacketed bullet bears a harder surface than traditional copper or gilding metal which allows it to penetrate past thick clothing and intermediate barriers with minimal deflection or clogging. In effect, the BJHP will travel deep into a threat's vital areas while the hollow cavity's spiraled serrations promote wide expansion and optimal energy dump. Remington is one of America's most trusted manufacturers and has helped to develop a large array of weapons and calibers that are currently in use around the world.
