This 9mm Luger ammunition from Winchester's PDX1 Defender series is a formidable carry load suitable for a variety of popular concealed carry pistols. These rounds feature bullets with bonded cores and jackets to minimize the risk of separation when the round strikes a target. This ensures consistent energy transfer and quick results in a self-defense emergency.

Each cartridge in this case of 200 fires a 147 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second. Compared to other 9mm Parabellum ammo, this load fires a heavy bullet at a moderate muzzle velocity. This is standard pressure ammo that will work well in subcompact handguns such as the Glock 43, Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, SIG P938, and Springfield XDs.

Winchester ammo is loaded in the USA using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass. The brass used in their defensive loads is nickel plated for additional durability; this is a significant benefit for ammunition that is carried every day but rarely fired.
