Amy Beck ( Sat, 11 May 2013 21:15:54 +0000 ) : Will this ammo work for a Taurus PT 24/7 g2c 9mm? I just recently purchased it and its my first time trying (key word...TRYING lol) to buy ammo! Thank!
Jeremy Wallace ( Sat, 11 May 2013 21:28:03 +0000 ) : NO.... 9mm Parrabelum or 9mm Luger is 9x19 9x18 or 9mm Marakov is not he same and will not safely work
Jeremy Wallace ( Sat, 11 May 2013 21:32:55 +0000 ) : On that site look at the 9mm Ammo not 9x18. Unfortunately the cost of 9mm is high and hard to find.
Jarod Fitte ( Sun, 12 May 2013 01:53:08 +0000 ) : Good advice Jeremy - also Amy, if you are able, it's generally considered best practice to fire brass cased rounds through your weapon as many of the steel cased rounds have a coating/lacquer on them that over time will gunk up the chamber and barrel, necessitating more frequent cleanings... Granted, it's even better practice to thoroughly clean your weapon each time you use it, but that's sometimes a pretty ambitious goal to adhere to.... all of this is just fyi.
Heidi Gunner ( Sun, 12 May 2013 19:35:30 +0000 ) : Good advice Jeremy and Jarod, thanks for helping out. They're correct Amy - you'll want to visit this page for your Taurus 9mm: http://www.luckygunner.com/handgun/9mm-ammo
Jimmy A Faircloth ( Sat, 18 May 2013 13:19:28 +0000 ) : Had to send these bullets back would not work in my TAURUS SLIM SHELL would not eject.
Robert Smith ( Wed, 22 May 2013 13:32:28 +0000 ) : Works great in my Makarov.

Q: Will this ammo work with the springfield xdm 9mm handgun and what is the difference between this ammo and other 9mm ammo?

Posted On: 4/25/13 By: ki

A: This 9x18 ammunition will not function correctly in your Springfield 9mm handgun. Your pistol, along with other moder pistols such as Glock and Sig, will require the popular 9x19mm Luger round. This may be found under our "9mm Ammo" section.
Q: HI,I just ordered The 9mm Makarov 9+18mm is the bullet steel or is it just the casing. Thank you

Posted On: 4/23/13 By: Robert

A: The casing will be a steel composition with the bullet jacket a copper based jack, with some amounts of steel in them. This is the popular bimetal jacket used on most steel cased ammo. This will perform like any copper full metal jacket and will not wear out the pistol prematurely. However, some indoor ranges may have restrictions on cases or bullets.

Customer Reviews

good ammo and value Review by Tony
This makarov ammo is fair priced and good to go. Thanks lucky gunner.

Works well. A little cleaning required. Review by Robert
Laquered case does dirty up the gun after awhile, but most communist block Makarov pistols are loose enough that they will still function. Not as cheap as they used to be, but hard to find anything affordable to shoot these days. Muzzle velocity will vary from this manufacturer, but still surprizingly hot. LG, as expected..super shipping and great transaction. (Posted on 5/19/13)
brown bear 9mm Mak is cheap, looks scary (like will this blow up my pistol) and shoots fairly true. Review by zetakanese
Price of this ammunition accurately explains the quality of the product. The casings were scratched right out of the box, it did not look like the bullet was tightly seated in the casing, and I was worried my pistol would blow out because of these. 150 rounds later, my CZ-82 was still accurately putting these down range. Know it is an affordable middle of the road product. Would buy again. (Posted on 5/18/13)
