CCI Ammunition stands for Cascade Cartridges, Inc and was started by its two founders in 1951.  CCI Ammunition is well known as a manufacturer of rimfire ammunition, centerfire handgun ammunition, and primers for reloaders.  CCI Ammunition was formerly known as Speer Ammunition Company.

CCI Ammunition is best known for their Gold Dot line ammo, component bullets, and commercially loaded high quality handgun ammunition with copper plated hollow points.  Furthermore, CCI Ammunition produced the very first Mini-Mag ammo!

The hollow point bullet is an expanding bullet that has a concave pit shape on its tip. This slope allows the tip of the bullet to expand upon impact thus causing more destruction to your target.  Jacketed hollow points (JHPs) are another type of hollow point ammunition that is covered with a harder metal to increase bullet strength.

With such an established reputation, CCI Ammunition was one of the primary manufacturers to supply the French military and police officers with quality ammunition in 2009!
