Small Rifle Primed Ammo

Be sure that you reference your reloading manual before using any primers to ensure safe reloading. 

Small Rifle Primers are the most commonly used rifle primer type due to its use in 5.56/.223 ammunition.  Small Rifle Primers are the same size as Small Pistol Primers, but burn with an increased intensity due to the larger size of the rifle case.  Due to the higher power burn of the Small Rifle Primers, you do not want to use them in place of small pistol primers.  Small Rifle Primers are used for calibers smaller than .223 Remington.
