These M-Pro 7 branded Boresnakes are the very same by Hoppe's that all shooters know and love. This is will be the quickest and most effective cleaning tool that you ever use on your firearms. Simply add some cleaning solvent to your bore and/or the snake itself, drop the brass weight through the chamber, and then pull the nylon cord through the muzzle. As you pull, the Boresnake's embedded brass bristles will loosen carbon residue while the rest of body tightly fills the barrel's rifling and pulls every bit of debris away. One pass from a Boresnake is equivalent in cleaning strength to dozens of passes with wet and dry patches.

This snake is also useful for pre-storage lubrication; simply add few drops of your favorite long-term preservative to the snake, run it through the bore, and then consider the inner-barrel ready for a long sleep in the safe. The Boresnake is machine-washable (don't combine with other items) and can be wrapped around itself and secured with a rubber-band for compact convenience. This particular snake model is meant 9mm Luger, .380 ACP, .38 Special, and .357 Magnum handguns but can also be used for other rifles and pistols measuring from .350 to .385 inches in caliber. A collapsing weave design means that the snake is not likely to get stuck when used with properly fitting calibers but will also be wide enough to catch hard-sticking fouling.
