2011 marks yet another innovative product from Fiocchi. Their 12 gauge tracer shells will light up the sky making for a great training tool to see just where your shot pattern is allowing for you to become your own best coach!

Fiocchi's tracer shells represent a great tool that will be sure to impress your buddies at the field. This product represents a great leap forward in tracer ammunition as Fiocchi partnered with Cyalume Technologies to provide a tracer load that is considered environmentally safe by the EPA. This technology does not generate lots of heat and is classified as non-pyrotechnic which means that it does not pose a risk of starting costly range fires. Cyalume Technologies states that this producet can even be used in dry conditions without risk of fire. This product is non-corrosive and does not leave a residue in the barrel.

Magnis Madox ( Sat, 13 Oct 2012 00:57:45 +0000 ) : my only concern about ordering, is that the glow rod inside is shock sensitive. and there have been several reviews saying they didn't work. this makes me think the glow rod was damaged in shipping. after all you guys are not really known for your wonderful packing of products.

I was skeptical but I purchased a case of these shells and spent half of it this weekend. The shell works great , long due for us shooters; it made shooting more entertaining for me and those around me; the only bad was that I was getting unsolicited advice from spectators when I missed. I hit a few birds with the light stick inside the shell and it burst on impact, just like on youtube! It looked liked opening day of the Irak invasion. (Posted on 6/27/11)

I was excited to try this as a training aid but unfortunately, it did not perform at all. There was absolutely no "tracer" effect in daylight or evening. (Posted on 5/31/11)

I bought a box thinking this might be a great training aid for sporting clays. I tried them to no avail. There was no "tracer" effect even at night. There are no specific instructions on the box so I do not know if they need to be "activated" before use or what. Maybe I did something wrong or got a faulty or expired box. Still think it is a great idea if it works. (Posted on 5/26/11)
