A: Thanks for reaching out John! We don't manufacture ammunition ourselves, although Fiocchi does load their 40 S&W ammo according to industry specifications. These cartridges must possess the same exterior dimensions that 40 S&W rounds are obligated to have. I can't answer anything for certain without personally inspecting your handgun, although an immediate reason does come to mind: Brand new magazines frequently have very stiff springs. I expect that once you have broken your new magazines in a little bit, their springs will become supple enough to store all 13 rounds like they are supposed to. Glock magazine springs are famously stiff when they are brand new, and I expect SIG magazine springs are no different!
