The MicroVault XL safe is constructed from high-strength 18 gauge steel that is precisely constructed to eliminate entry from hand tools trying to pry it apart.
This digital handgun safe includes a built-in computer which blocks access after repeated invalid keypad entries to ensure someone with time on their hands spends it behind bars instead of stealing your valuables. Also included is a high-strength steel security cable to remove easy theft.
The interior of this safe is lined with protective foam and also included is a convenient elastic strap with pockets for additional storage.

Impressed with the Microvault. One of my concerns was that it only had 4 buttons which limited the security due to the low number of combination options. But once I got it and looked at the directions I realized that you can hold down multiple buttons at a time to count as one entry greatly increasing the number of combination options. This thing is fast to open and well made. Oh, by the way, it doesn't include a battery which I think manufacturers should supply but not a big deal. Overall, I would highly recommend as a safe way to secure your pistol without making access an issue. (Posted on 4/30/12)Performance Value Quality
