Military Ballistics Industries (MBI) specializes in custom ammunition and ordinance products for use by the military, law enforcement agencies, and training facilities in the United States.
This particular 5.56x45 product is custom-manufactured using new brass casings produced at the Lake City facilities and Hornady 55 gr FMJBT projectiles! Each round is brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. It comes in 100-round sealed plasti-packs within a 1,000-round cardboard case. It is both economical and precision manufactured by an established American cartridge producer.

Any review at LG should be split into two parts:Performance Value Quality
First part is Lucky Gunner: Great website, superior service, good prices. Love buying from these guys.
Second part is the product: These are great rounds. They fire reliably and are at least as clean as the Federal rounds. The Federal M855 seems to give slighly tigher groups but that could be perception (not using paper targets, just turing 6 inch rocks into pebbles at 20 at 250 yards). I have shot 200 of the 1,000 rounds of 223 that I bought. So far I have had no misfires and no jams. Same for the 9mm. I might like a little tighter grouping at 100 yards, but that could just be me. I shot 900 rds. mostly thru an armalite M-15 20" chrome lined 1:9 twist. With a scope for .223 55gr ammo shoots .75 MOA 3 rounds at 100 yds. and about 1.25" MOA at 200. This is a true custom load.
