These Blackhawk pistol cases appear well-made, and the price is excellent for the product. I still miss the old leather/fleece cases from the last century; but must admit that mine did wear out after 40 years or so.
NOTE: If you're going to encase anything with a barrel over 5", buy the LARGER size.

If your a collector or have several handguns in a safe these offer great protection for your guns. I am very pleased as I thought they would be a lot thinner and lower quality, I would have been ok with that, but these are very sturdy and thick. I am going to buy more and give them out to the guys at deer camp during spring cleanup. Buy these at this price and you will be very happy. Buy them at regular price and you will still be happy.

This is a very nice, compact carrying case. Has ample padding and a very sturdy zipper. Can't beat it for the price.
