The Tula Cartridge Works was founded in 1880 and is currently one of the largest ammunition manufacturing plants in the world. The Tula name has gained a following worldwide for its rugged, reliable, and economical product. This cartridge complies with CIP requirements and the casing features a polymer-coated steel casing with a non-corrosive Boxer Primer. The projectile features a bimetal jacket (contains steel and copper) and a lead core resulting in excellent ballistics characteristics.

Wasn't sure what would happen with this ammo as it was the first time I bought this ammo. Was thoroughly impressed with its performance. A bang every time and no jams or misfires. Great buy for a great price. (Posted on 7/17/12)Performance Value Quality - Went bang every time Review by scooterbum

Though this is one of the cheapest ammo selections in terms of price, the performance was on par with every other ammo that I have shot. Good ammo for the range. Would definitely buy again. (Posted on 5/6/12)Performance Value Quality - Good Ammo Review by flipzhd

Put 200 rounds thru my new Cougar and it never hiccuped ...not once .Without nominal break in thats not bad.Accuracy was there... 40 ft ....pie plate size consistently.. I have purchase a box of 50 rounds at Wally World for $2.00 less than Remington UMC. I am happy. I have read that these rounds leave a gun dirty, but I did not see that with my Glock. (Posted on 1/21/12)Performance Value Quality - Not so good Review by David

Did not work very well in my M&P. Won't be using any more of this. (Posted on 8/9/11)Quality Performance Value - Best in class Review by Xtraker

Very clean ammo!Performance Value Quality
Have fired 300 rounds from my Beretta Vertec yesterday. Usually, I shoot Federal of Winchester and my stainless steel Beretta has black color all around the nose after first 100.
After using TulAmmo I do not see any dirt on it.
Shooting good grouping.
Good ammo! (Posted on 2/17/11) - BEST Value for money. Period. Review by 6Sigma

Have fired over 1,000 rounds of Tula .40 through a Glock 23 with only 3 FTF's which are blamed on grip control rather than manufacturer defect. Of those 1,000 rounds, only one has turned up with a bad seal on the primer, which is acceptable within 10% inspection tolerances. Tula cycles and ejects cleanly, and provides very reliable groupings at 25-35 feet. For a steel cased round at this price point, spending more on brass-thrown ammo is a waste of money. This is your plinking round, hands down. Stock up. (Posted on 2/9/11)Performance Value Quality - Reliable for low cost Review by D. Town
