- Great for target or plinking, worked fine in my 1911. Review by no1cr500racer

Inexpensive ammo for you all around plinking or target shooting. Shot fine in my 1911, chambered fine and didnt have any feed problems or eject problems. If you use your brass for reloading this might not be for you as they are steel case shells. (Posted on 4/23/10)Performance Value Quality - Great Price/Product Review by Jeff Y

Hey, a lot of folks feel these rounds can damage your extractor due to steel cases being harder than brass. I shoot a Glock 21 and even if the above is true, I can easily replace an extractor for what I save. Yes this stuff is a bit "dirty". So clean your gun even if you just run a bore snake a few times. For me at least, feeds well through the Glock and I don't think I've ever had a misfire. I bought 1k of the Wolf .45 ACP Ammo from luckygunner back in January for a 4 day handgun class in Feb. I was shooting a Springfield XD. I loaded each magazine identically - 10 rounds. (They are 13 round magazines, but I was told NOT to load to capacity on new mags, so.. 10 it was..) The first 150-200 rounds went off without a hitch. Then the problems began. The rounds would jam against each other in the magazine, and I would be thrown in the middle of a FTF drill while trying to focus on OTHER skills. *not* good, unless you count this panicky experience in training Vs the "real world" as a positive. (which it is.) I cleaned / oiled each magazine twice, and still got magazine jams. Switched to pro shop brass ammo ($$$.!!) and the problems went away for the duration of the class. I do not fault Luckygunner.. I LOVE luckygunner.. But just beware - if you will be plinking on a range with this ammo - you'll be just fine. If you are firing this through a 1911 (single stack), you'll be fine.. (IMHO) But if the stakes are any higher than paper target practice - load up on some brass FMJ / JHP. from luckygunner. :) (Posted on 3/28/10)Performance Value Quality - You get what you pay for Review by GTJon

I’ve put 200 rounds through my P220 Sig. No miss fires or failures to feed. I agree with the above comments though, a little under powered and dirty. At 25 yrds my groups are about 1 inch larger than what I normally shoot. I’ve bought a lot of ammo from Lucky Gunner, always good service and prompt delivery. Put 100 rounds through my Kimber 45 and had zero misfires. Good product...plan to order more when they become available :) (Posted on 2/26/10)Value Quality Performance - Decent stuff Review by Pete USMC

Good target practice ammo but it will beat up your ejector with its steel case. It is a bit under-powered and smokey but you get what you pay for. 2 malfunctions that were ammo related from 300 rounds shot. (Posted on 1/10/10)Performance Value Quality - Awesome Review by Raycutro

Okay, steel case, cannot reload and it is for target only, I get that, but I do not reload and I have four clips of +P + 1for CC, so it's not a problem for me. Taurus PT 145, STI Escort II, 45 ACP. The ammo gives no problem with either of them. The local ammo dump here wants $30 for 50. They stocked when the prices were high they said. Lucky Gunner has not changed from $17 per w/3 box min. Oh and it is right, if it is on their site they have it. Don't see it? It is not available. My .32's, .38's, and even my little Walther P-22 will be using ammo from Lucky Gunner. Thank you for the great customer service. Your example could be the blueprint for what ails America. Great Customer Service! (Posted on 12/18/09)Value Quality Performance
