Winchester's dual bonded ammo is sure to deliver great knockdown power, deep penetration, and significant tissue damage. The dual bonded bullets retain close to 100% of their weight retention.
The great performance of this bullet is a result of their patented technology. The inner jacket is welded to the lead core and the outer jacket is bonded to the inner bullet creating a bullet within a bullet. During impact, the outer jacket deploys into 6 segments. Then, the inner jacket works with the bonded lead core and forms another six segments at a controlled rate. The result is a bullet with 12 segments that is 1.5 times the original diameter upon impact giving hunters a quick kill.
The nickel-plated cases are designed to help prevent corrosion over time.
Manufactured by the legendary Winchester Ammunition Company, this product is brand new, boxer-primed, nickel-plated brass cased, non-corrosive, and reloadable.
Winchester began offering its quality product in 1873 and has been providing the citizens and military of the United States with the same standard of quality ever since.
