Back in the early ‘60s, Remington set their sights south of the border and opened up a new ammo factory. Cartuchos Deportivos de México would eventually become Industrias Tecnos and begin operating independently. Now their Aguila label is one of the largest rimfire producers in the world, and provides several other types of accessibly priced cartridges and shotshells wherever they’re needed.

This 12 Gauge shotshell is Aguila’s offering to the deer hunters and the home defenders. Loaded with 00 buckshot that exit the muzzle at 1,275 fps, it’s as able to topple a Booner as it is an intruder. Aguila’s lead shot has the hardness it needs to stay round before leaving the muzzle and effectively transfer its substantial energy – simply put, a shell like this puts the “boom” in “boomstick.”
