You try to be a good hunter and pick up all your empty hulls. But no one – and we mean no one – is going to locate all of their wads. That used to mean hunting went hand-in-hand with leaving little bits of nonbiodegradable plastic behind. But thanks to BioAmmo, those days are done!

This 12 Gauge shotshell features a unique biopolymer tube and wad. The plant based material is completely compostable. Let it lie wherever it might fall, and in only a couple years bacteria, algae and fungi will convert biopolymer into environmentally safe salt, gas and water. Biopolymer will even weather away if it is left underwater!

BioAmmo loaded this shell with extremely small #10 shot pellets. At 0.07” in diameter they pattern extremely densely (a single shell is loaded with approximately 911 shot pellets), but at only 0.51 grains apiece #10 shot pellets carry very little energy as they strike their target. That’s why this ammo is best suited for hunting the smallest birds possible, as well as pests and varmints.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
