You make every effort to leave your hunting spot just as nice as you found it. Still, sometimes finding a spent shell is impossible, and let’s be honest – you’re never going to find all your wads. But when you hunt with BioAmmo, you don’t have to worry about leaving permanent plastic litter behind!

This 12 Gauge hunting shell contains no plastic. BioAmmo constructs their hull and wad out of a special biopolymer, which is made out of vegetable based material that gradually breaks down in the environment. Leave this shell lying on the ground and within about two years its hull and wad will get completely eaten up by bacteria and other microbes that live in the soil.

And you don’t sacrifice performance when you hunt with this environmentally-friendly ammo, either. BioAmmo makes consistent #8 shot, primers and powder to ensure effective accuracy, patterning and recoil. This shell’s wad even erects petals upon exiting the muzzle to promote cleaner detachment from the shot, and has a compression area at its base to help mitigate felt recoil.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
