While it’s certainly not the most threateningly named animal, the snow goose presents certain challenges when it’s being hunted. This 12 Gauge shotshell by Winchester is packed with features that will give you an edge as you’re in pursuit of the noisy bugger.

This 3 1/2” shell is loaded with 1 3/8 ounces of Winchester’s Xpert steel BB shot. Treated to resist corrosion, Xpert shot withstands rusting in frigid wetlands to preserve its ability to pattern tightly. Winchester’s diamond cut wad complements such shot, improving its pattern density over long ranges better than any standard wad could.

This shell’s propellent is formulated and weighed to produce a consistent 1,550 fps muzzle velocity. That delivers an impressively flat trajectory, and gives relatively lightweight steel the punch it needs to fell a distant snow goose.

This shell’s extruded plastic hull is colored a dull gray, and its wad is a muted color also. With them you won’t reveal your position to snow geese that are perpetually searching their surroundings for threats.
