Turkeys are just one of those animals. On the one hand we learn to love them from a young age, drawing them by tracing our hands on sheets of paper and cheering on the POTUS has he pardons his annual bird. On the other we eat them by the ton, and shoot them whenever it amuses us to do so. This 20 Gauge ammo by Fiocchi is suitable for our latter type of treatment for Tom Turkey.

This shell is loaded with #4 shot. That’s big, 0.13” diameter shot for a big, gobblin’ critter. You could use this shell to hunt for smaller birds as well, especially if you’re firing through thick weeds and reeds that might turn less substantial shot pellets aside. Fiocchi takes care to harden their lead shot and screen it for uniform dimensions, and they pair it with a sweet wad to help you put a denser cluster of pellets on target downrange.

This shell’s hull is as strong as it is yellow, so you can reload it to hunt whatever kind of game you please once you get back to the mother ship. Fiocchi’s shells create a small footprint on your shotgun thanks to their primers and powder which prevent corrosion and excessive fouling, respectively.
