This .22 LR ammunition from Winchester's M-22 series is a great choice for target shooting, particularly with suppressed firearms. It is loaded to produce subsonic velocities; this works well with suppressors because a bullet that does not cross the sound barrier will not produce the sonic 'crack' that suppressors cannot eliminate.
Each round in this box of 100 fires a 45 grain copper plated bullet at 1,090 feet per second. This velocity, in addition to being subsonic, results in excellent inherent accuracy.
Winchester ammo is made in the USA and uses non-corrosive primers. The company's ammunition factory is located in Oxford, Mississippi; this facility opened in 2011 and is one of the most modernized plants in the world.

Unbelievable Poor Accuracy
Turrible, just turrible!
Disclaimer: Technically, I didn’t buy the here - my buddy loves the site and bought these for me.
Either a) that was one tough possum, b) four (of six fired) didn’t penetrate, or c) I missed four of six shots with my trusty Winchester at 60-70 meters. Since I did dispatch him with a single shot from my 4” P320...Hmm...to the line we go....
I didn’t experience the FTFs others have had, but after sighting in/verifying my dope with a handful of leftover Stingers I found that these rounds do weird things beyond 35. At 25 they were spot on. At 50...I cannot bring myself to say the size of my group. At 75 I had to get my son to spot bc....no impact-no idea.
They won’t be in my shopping cart anytime soon... Hope this helps. Cheers!
Not a replacement for Rem 40grn SubSonic
I normally shoot Rem 40grn Subsonic in my Ruger 10/22, EABCO 1/9 "fast-twist"bbl'd rifle, always have, but as they are not in stock and more expensive than these Winchester 45grn subs, where I did find them, thought I would give them a try. The rounds look good but as I found out today they do not perform. In the first 13 rounds I had more than 50% malfunctions. They either did not fire with the first strike, (most did fire when reloaded again), did not extract forcing me to resort to pocket knife extraction method or jammed on extraction and feeding. The are hotter than the Remington rounds (possibly just seemed so because of the added weight, but louder for sure) and at 50 yards are all over the place accuracy wise. I went back to my normal Remington SS rnds to check the rifle and had no FTFs, FTEs and my normal accuracy (1/2 at 50 yds) while firing 30 rnds thru 3 different standard Ruger 10rnd rotary mags, so I'm fairly certain it weren't the rifle. Guess I'll just save these for pistol plinkin and letting the grandkids shoot 'em up in their Chipmunk........
I won't be buying any more of these,
