Do you know what happens when a bunch veterans who love loading ammo converge on Roswell, New Mexico? You get Red Mountain Arsenal, which currently supplies fine ammo to US law enforcement agencies, foreign governments, and – best of all – you.

This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge ends in a 125 grain open tip match bullet. Now, don’t make the rookie mistake and assume this bullet’s going to expand inside of soft tissue like a hollow point would have. The OTM only has an open tip because its manufacturer lets its lead core harden inside of its jacket, a technique that yields an extremely balanced bullet with its weight distributed toward its tail for even greater in-flight stability. This bullet’s attenuated copper jacket is highly concentric and ends in a boat tail to reduce in-flight drag. In essence, every molecule of an OTM is put in place specifically to enhance accuracy.

This round’s minutely matched primer and propellant launch its lightweight bullet out of a rifle’s muzzle at a velocity well beyond the speed of sound. (As of writing Red Mountain Arsenal has not yet released this round’s ballistic data.) Each round in this box of 20 has an unfired brass case, which becomes a reloadable brass case once fired.
