If you want to use your .300 AAC upper for varminting, try this soft point ammunition from HPR of Payson, Arizona. These cartridges fire a 150 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,733 feet per second; this supersonic velocity helps the projectile expand reliably and deliver deadly mushrooming against a variety of small to midsize targets such as coyotes or groundhogs.

This ammunition is considered "blemished," meaning it has minor cosmetic defects that detract from its appearance but not its performance. As a result, it comes in a bulk package of 100 rounds offered at a substantial discount over the usual retail price of HPR ammo. A great way to get quality ammo cheaply if you're a practically minded shooter!

HPR ammo uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.

As with all .300 AAC ammunition, these rounds require a dedicated upper receiver to be fired from your AR-15 but use the same magazines. Be careful not to mix .300 AAC and .223 Remington/5.56 NATO ammo.
