This 380 Auto cartridge by Inceptor features the state of the art ARX projectile. You’ll notice right away just just how light the ARX is for its caliber -- that’s because it’s made of an injection molded blend of copper and polymer, so it fires extremely clean, causes practically negligible recoil, and has an exceptionally flat trajectory. You’ll also notice that the ARX has no hollow point nose cavity, a glaring omission from a bullet designed for self-defense. The ARX takes a different path.

The flutes around the ARX’s nose start out wide and end at narrow exit points. As the bullet penetrates its target, these grooves channel the soft tissue they engage with, pressurize it, and eject it laterally at up to twice the speed that the ARX is traveling at. This experience is about as pleasant for the target as you might imagine, and wholly debilitating. The ARX is thus able to deliver stopping power that can exceed that of a hollow point, and without the need for a divot in its nose that could disrupt smooth feeding in a semi-automatic. Quite the potent package!
