The Inceptor line was created to revolutionize the way we look at self defense ammunition. These unique rounds are made from a non-expanding injection molded metal and polymer blend. Instead of relying on a hollow point and expansion for knock down power, these projectiles use three large fins to transfer their energy laterally once they come in contact with a soft medium. Another distinctive characteristic of these projectiles is that when hitting a soft target you can expect to see around 16 inches of penetration with over 95% weight retention, but impact with hard targets results in fragmentation. These projectiles are light and fast, in 45 ACP you will see a 118 grain projectile exit the barrel a 1,307 feet per second!
