A: Thanks for reaching out Paul! The 7.62 Nagant (aka 7.62x38mmR) was designed in Russia in 1895 and is almost exclusively used in the classic Russian Nagant M1895 revolver. It has approximately the same bullet diameter as the 7.62x51, but its similarities to the American rifle cartridge pretty much end there. I'm happy to say we have got some suitable selections for your rifle in stock: luckygunner.com/rifle/308-ammo

A: Thanks for reaching out Terence! 7.62 Nagant ammunition was designed for the Russian Nagant M1895 revolver. I'm unaware of any other handguns that chamber it.
