Sometimes Remington makes more ammo than they can package in green and yellow boxes. When that happens, you get a massive brick of ammo like this! Please note that this case of ammo is packaged by weight, not precise quantity, so you might not get exactly 1,000 rounds.

Remington’s Golden Saber 9mm +P ammo is meant for self-defense. This round’s 124 grain bullet’s jacket is made of hard brass, and it is bonded to its lead core. These two attributes make the Golden Saber bullet extremely durable, so it’s able to retain 100 percent of its weight after penetrating heavy clothing, wallboard, and steel. Even auto glass, the toughest test barrier, is designed to not take more than 10 percent of this bonded BJHP bullet’s weight!

As the Golden Saber bullet utilizes its intact weight and momentum to establish a deep wound channel, the spiral cut serrations engineered into its jacket get right to work. These cuts control wide yet controlled expansion, delivering the kind of wound channel we politely call “debilitating.”

This round’s gold-colored bullet is set in a silver-colored brass case. That luster actually comes from the case’s nickel plating, which promotes positive functioning in a semi-auto as well as corrosion resistance. Reflective nickel is also easier to see in the dark!

Please note that this is +P (aka overpressure) self-defense ammo. It trades off a heavier chamber pressure for a higher muzzle velocity and downrange energy. Not all handguns are designed to safely fire 9mm +P ammo, so please check your weapon’s manual or manufacturer’s website before committing to this ammo. Or just ask us – we’re always here for you!
